Stacey and Brendan’s wedding day was truly a memorable one. The day was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. As a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Loughrea, we were thrilled to capture their special day. From the start we made sure to create a stress-free, enjoyable experience. We first met this lovely couple at a wedding showcase the year before. We immediately connected with them, naturally we were delighted when they chose us to be their wedding photographers. Their warm personalities and fun-loving spirit set the tone for an amazing wedding in Loughrea.
Touching Moments
The day began with us splitting up. As part of the wedding photography package they chose for us to cover both the bride’s and groom’s preparations simultaneously. Ann Marie headed to Stacey’s house, where the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Joe joined Brendan and the groomsmen. Stacey, a compassionate nurse, was calm and radiant as she enjoyed her morning. Surrounded by her closest friends. Ann Marie captured every detail—from the laughter to the touching moments. Beginning with the layflat of the wedding details, the wedding dress, shoes, perfume and jewellery. Stacey had everything organised and any details that were important to her were laid out ready for photographing.
Genuine Fun and Excitement
The opening of the champagne is always a fun time. It is one of the photo opportunities we love to capture. As part of the wedding day photography, it is undeniably one of the most frequent occasions where you capture genuine reactions. When it came time to pop the champagne, Stacey made sure the cork and bubbly went flying. Thus creating the perfect photo-op as the girls cheered and laughed. We all had such a laugh, the genuine fun and excitement between the girls was captured forever by the lens.
Candid & Posed Moments
Meanwhile, Brendan and the lads were tackling cufflinks, bow ties, and buttonholes, with a little help from Brendan’s Mum. It is equally as important as part of the wedding photography to photograph these moments as they happen. Despite some initial struggles, they scrubbed up nicely and were soon ready to go. With Joe on hand to capture both the candid and posed moments. Shortly after everyone was dressed, the groomsmen opened a bottle of whisky and toasted the Groom accordingly.
Initially, Stacey believed a friend would be driving her to the ceremony. However, Brendan had a secret surprise planned. Eventually, when everyone was dressed and ready to go. Stacey glanced out the window. To her amazement, a horse-drawn carriage stood outside, complete with two elegant white mares and a driver. Her joy and excitement were unmistakeable. Following the initial surprise, Stacey stepped outside to climb into the beautiful carriage. Meanwhile, we decided that Joe would go to the church while Ann Marie stayed with Stacey. This allowed us to photograph these heartfelt moments and capture the magic of Brendans unforgettable surprise. As a wedding photographer, flexibility is essential. Sometimes, plans shift, and the ability to adapt ensures every precious moment is preserved. With two of us on the team, we can seamlessly adjust to suit the days unique flow
Captured Everyones Hearts
At the local church, the ceremony began with an adorable surprise. Stacey and Brendan’s young daughter led the bridal procession in a mini electric car. She immediately captured everyone’s hearts. Soon after the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. Stacey, a stunning bride, walked up the aisle linked by her godfather. At the top, her adoring husband to be stood waiting. Understandably, they were both filled with a mix of nerves and excitement .Throughout the service personal readings and heartfelt music from friends made the ceremony deeply moving and meaningful. As wedding photographers, capturing the ceremony is always very special. We take great care to stay unobtrusive while still ensuring every important moment is photographed. Ultimately, our goal is to photograph every memory so the couple can relive their beautiful day for years to come.
Photos Filled with Laughter and Love
After the church ceremony the bride and groom made the short trip to their local pub by horse and carriage. It was a joyous and memorable stop. Here we captured some candid photos filled with laughter and love.
Cheerful Approach
The walled gardens in Kilchreest were the perfect setting for the bridal party wedding photos. As experienced wedding photographers we have the privelege of photographing many beautiful moments in these gardens. To begin ee started by the fountain, where Stacey produced some props to have some fun with. There was sunglasses for all the bridesmaids and personalised beer bottles for the groomsmen. It added a lively touch to the wedding photos. Although the groomsmen were a bit shy at first, our cheerful approach and natural photographic style quickly put them at ease. Before long they warmed up and began enjoying the shoot. After all as wedding photographers , it is our priority to make sure everyone feels relaxed and comfortable.
Cherished Moments
Once the group was laughing and having fun we ventured deeper into the gardens. Since the bluebells were in full bloom we made sure to incorporate them into the wedding photographs. As a result the flowers provided the backdrop for some romantic photos of the happy couple on their wedding day. Ultimately the result was a collection of cherished memories in a truly magical setting.
Warm and Rapturous Welcome
Upon arriving at the Loughrea Hotel, the bride and groom were greeted with a warm and rapturous welcome from their guests. Soon after, they mingled, chatted and fully embraced the lively atmosphere. Later, as part of their wedding photography they posed for photos in the beautifully decorated reception room. These moments highlighted their stunning wedding cake and elegant table settings. Lighthearted Moments
As the guests began taking their seats, Stacey and Brendan headed up to the rooftop for some fun and spontaneous photos. Onc there they were joined by their bridal party. They shared lighthearted moments that added even more joy to their special day. In the end these rooftop photos perfectly captured their laughter and love, creating memories to treasure forever.
Casual lively photos
The speeches were short and sweet, with Brendan’s best man delivering plenty of laughs before diving into the delicious meal. Afterwards, we mingled with the guests, snapping casual, lively photos of family and friends enjoying themselves. As always these informal shots add a personal touch to the wedding album. They perfectly reflect the joy of the day.
Enchanting Sparkler Photos
As night fell, Stacey’s wish for enchanting sparkler photos came true. To begin, we gathered their close friends outside for this special part of the evening. There, the sparklers lit up the night sky, adding a romantic glow to the celebration. As a result, these stunning photos beautifully captured the joy of the moment, creating a warm and magical atmosphere. Ultimately, it was the perfect way to highlight the charm of wedding photography after dark.
Dancing The Night Away
With the band ready, Stacey and Brendan took to the dance floor for their first dance. It wasn’t long before the floor was packed with everyone in high spirits, dancing the night away. As wedding photographers, we loved every minute of capturing this lively celebration. The energy and joy were contagious, and we were thrilled to preserve these special moments.
