Áine & Rory’s Wedding at Loughrea Hotel & Spa

Áine and Rory’s wedding brought together family, laughter and beautiful lakeside photographs before a lively celebration at Loughrea Hotel & Spa. From morning preparations in Tynagh to their ceremony in Tynagh, their day was full of personal moments that were a pleasure to capture.

Bridal Preparations in Tynagh

Áine got ready at her parents’ home in Tynagh, accompanied by her two young kids, her mum and her sisters. There was plenty of banter as the family reminisced about things they had gotten up to when they were younger.

Even opening the champagne brought a little excitement. Just as the celebrations began, the rain arrived, and everyone quickly took cover to protect the carefully finished hair and makeup. It was a spontaneous moment that added to the fun of the morning.Ivory bridal shoes, pink and white bouquet, perfume and jewellery arranged on Áine’s veil. Rory’s Morning at Loughrea Hotel & Spa

Meanwhile, Joe met Rory and the lads at Loughrea Hotel & Spa to photograph their preparations and capture the craic. They enjoyed a quick pint together before heading to Tynagh Church for the ceremony. Having two photographers allowed us to capture both sides of the morning, preserving the moments Áine and Rory would later enjoy seeing together.

A Heartfelt Wedding Ceremony in Tynagh

Áine arrived at Tynagh Church in a convertible with her dad—a lovely entrance before the celebrations moved inside. Father Bohan officiated at the wedding Mass, delivering a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by the couple’s family and friends.

Wedding Photographs at Loughrea Lake

After the ceremony, Áine and Rory climbed back into the convertible and travelled to Loughrea Lake for their bridal-party photographs and couple portraits.

The lake looked beautiful, giving us a wonderful backdrop for a varied collection of photographs. We captured the wedding party together before spending some time photographing the newlyweds beside the water.

Celebrating at Loughrea Hotel & Spa

Back at Loughrea Hotel & Spa, everyone had gathered for the drinks reception and to welcome the newly married couple. The celebrations continued over dinner, drinks and a lively evening on the dance floor. It was a joyful finish to a day filled with family, great company and plenty of laughter.
